One feedback: It'd be nice to see the data through time. As it is, it looks like you can only view July. (I'm assuming you are keeping the data for past months)
It's interesting to me how different these language rankings can look depending on the source data. Your analysis, the Github-based analysis and TIOBE will likely never align.
hi lexi-mono.i realy like your idea and really liked the product.if you need a helping hand,i am available. My intro is i am full stack software developer having 2 years plus experience.you can reach me at abdurleo91@gmail.com
Made this web app to help you figure out how your favorite language is doing in the job market / what to learn next.
Every month I scan the previous months’ Hacker News 'Who Is Hiring' thread and build these stats. Hope others find this useful. Constructive feedback welcome.
This is only the first version. Next I'm planning to add more data for previous months/years as well and show the evolution of individual languages over time.
You've got both "Objective-C" and "Objective C"
It would be nice to separate out the APIs, like Cocoa and QT, or make a different graph for APIs/Frameworks
Should have mentioned: data is based on the 'Who is hiring' thread of the previous month. In the future I'm planning to add more data for previous months/years as well and maybe get jobs from other sources too.
