Likewise really miss those carefree days killing time in servers and making diabolically hard maps to play online with strangers and friends.

Battle.net servers was my hangout spot with friends eventually joint clans and playing ranked matches. Making maps to play online was also super fun. Brood War was perfect.

Sounds like the plot taken from For All Mankind

I think you have the wrong conclusion with Alexa’s skills and ecosystem, as a prior heavily bought-in Alexa user myself. It did feel like magic in the beginning and was a quality of life improvement if you automated repetitive task of daily life e.g. auto light/thermostat activation.

I never needed it to add stuff to my Amazon shopping cart or interpret things I said as voice shopping asks, which was a terrible UX.

There were so many other daily frustrations and Alexa skills that were half baked and random frequently resetting or going offline. Another frustration was Alexa failing to recognize the magic incantation to activate a simple action in the day to day when skills had overlapping utterances.

I actually wished Siri had better HomeKit IoT products so I could switch over, but I just gave up out of death by a thousand cuts wearing me down over the years and do everything manually now. Privacy and surveillance was also a huge tipping point to make me bin all my Alexa devices. I digress…

The problem is with Alexa itself, it fucking sucks to use and is very annoying with advertisements and such

What happens if your flashlight craps out?

Depends on the complexity of the cave. If it's an acyclic graph and you only went upstream you will probably hurt your shins a lot but you will eventually make it to the exit. If it's not and you are far way from an exit without any information gradient, e.g. light or sound, then hopefully you did inform others of your solo trip in the cave.

Take two.

For caving you’re supposed to take three and keep them in separate areas of the bag so you can’t lose all three at the same time.

I used to take a buncha glow sticks and a "shakey" flashlight too (just in case).

That's when the fumble time starts

Has anyone successfully rallied their county to get this program enacted? Seems a lot of Cali zip codes are not available…

Google Glass comes to mind

How has it been treating you? Do you keep muscle mass without having to hit 1g/lb of protein intake daily?

Haven't measured it exactly, but haven't noticed a reduction in my lifts either.

I do have a home gym, throttled my marathon training and try my best with Skyr and protein shakes though.

Any idea if a pill form will be available in the future?

Pill form is only available for regular GLP-1, not the double (tirzepatide) and triple agonist (retatrutide).

It causes less muscle loss/wasting which is a huge benefit over Tirz.

What’s the outcome if you submit a DROP request, less targeted spam phone calls/junk mail?

Doubtful, the ones I still receive come from people faking caller IDs so these are not good actors and can simply continue abusing the system.

So what does this accomplish? I’m just trying to understand if it’s worth it before sending over PII to register
