There are many examples of succesful clever mega-wealthy industrialists who really thought they were above the fray, had it all figured out, and could push all the levers to their advantage.



What happened then?


Fritz Thyssen and Hugo Junkers were arrested by the Nazis for being unhelpful.

Alfried Krupp was helpful to them... and was declared a war criminal by the Allies.

The point being: no one is above karma's reach, until they die. And if they care about their reputation, not even then.
